The Foreign Policy Society (Det Udenrigspolitiske Selskab) was founded in 1946 with the purpose of promoting knowledge about and interest in foreign affairs in Denmark. The society is a non-government, non-partisan and non-commercial association with 1200 members (2003). It organizes lectures, debates, seminars, conferences and study tours. It publishes the quarterly Udenrigs and the series Foreign Affairs Papers and Countries in Your Pocket, and it runs a small periodicals library.
