The Danish Dyslexia Organisation was founded in 1942. It’s aim was to ensure there was adequate information about dyslexia, by lobbying the Danish parliament (Folketing) the government, the county and city councils, so that the difficulties of this condition would be recognised and taken into consideration.
The purpose nowadays is to promote training and education of the dyslexic and to encourage the availability of reading material is aural form.
The organisation publishes a magazine called "The Dyslexia Magazine" .
The Chairman is Hans-Pauli Christiansen.
