The Danish Pleasure Crafts Safety Board was established in 1967 under the then Department of Trade and Industry to create a forum for the work for safety of persons exercising water sports – including recreational diving. The Danish Pleasure Crafts Safety Board is composed of organizations, which together represents approximately 175,000 persons exercising leisure activities in Danish Waters. The Danish Maritime Authority points out the chairman of the board.
