Event: "Rock 'n' Royal".
Rock concert at Parken in honour of HRH Crown Prince Frederik and his fiancée Miss Mary Donaldson.
The Crown Prince has taken the initiative for a rock concert to be held as part of the celebrations of his forthcoming wedding to Miss Mary Donaldson. The concert will take place in Parken in Copenhagen at 7 pm on 7 May 2004.

Amongst the performers will be D-A-D, TV-2, Sanne Salomonsen, Safri Duo, Pernille Rosendahl, Steen Jørgensen, Led Zeppelin Jam, Outlandish, Anders Blichfeldt, Lars H.U.G., Powderfinger (AUS), Black Rebel Motorcycle Club (US). The programme is currently updated.

The concert will be arranged by the Danish branch of the humanitarian care organisation Save the Children. The entire profit from the arrangement will be donated to Save the Children for their activities. HRH The Crown Prince is the patron for Save the Children in Denmark.

As a wedding gift to the Royal couple, ten private sponsors have donated the funds to make "Rock 'n' Royal" possible. There is seating for approximately 40,000 spectators in Parken.

Event: Match Race in the Port of Copenhagen.

The stage will be set for an international match race between Denmark and Australia when the Crown Prince and the Crown Princess-to-be participate in a match race in Copenhagen Harbour on Sunday 9 May 2004. 

HRH Crown Prince Frederik and Miss Mary Donaldson will be ready to hoist the sails on their respective boats when the two yachtsmen, Jesper Bank from Denmark and John Bertrand from Australia, meet for a match race on the occasion of the forthcoming wedding.

The event will take place in Copenhagen North Harbour, off Langelinie Quay. Activities will commence at 10:00 am and end at 15:00 pm.

The match race has been organised by the City of Copenhagen, Wonderful Copenhagen and the Port of Copenhagen (Copenhagen Harbour authorities).
