While the guests arrive music will be performed by cathedral organist Flemming Dreisig, assistant organist Mads Høck, the Copenhagen Royal Chapel Choir conducted by cathedral precentor Ebbe Munk and the Brass Ensemble of the Royal Guards conducted by Peter Harbeck. During the ceremony of marriage also the baroque ensemble Concerto Copenhagen and Lars Ulrik Mortensen (harpsicord) will be performing.
At the arrival of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik the Festival Prelude by Carl Nielsen will be played followed by the Morning Hymn by Niels W. Gade and the Toccata by Léon Boëllmann.
At the arrival of the Donaldson family the Choir of Copenhagen Cathedral will sing the Scottish hymn Fill thou my lifte, O lord my God.
As Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince Consort enter the church a fanfare by Antonio Soler will be played.
Mr John Dalgleish Donaldson will be leading Miss Mary Elizabeth Donaldson to the altar to the sound of the anthem Zadok the Priest for choir and orchestra by George Frideric Handel.
