With its 82,000 members, the Danish Heart Association is one of the largest organizations for combating disease in Denmark.

The organization primarily engages in patient support, research and prevention of disease and has been taking care of heart patients’ interests for 40 years.    

The Danish Heart Association bases its work on raised funds and supports more than two thirds of all heart research in Denmark financially. Every year, more than DKK 20 million is distributed for research into treatment and prevention of heart diseases.
