The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is one of the largest Danish organisations involved in international humanitarian work. The DRC works to give refugees a future and helps them to become self-sufficient. Abroad the DRC works to provide emergency aid, rebuilds schools, clears landmines and supports community development.

At home, the DRC works to strengthen integration of refugees in Denmark in a variety of ways, such as teaching the Danish language, use of ethnic employment service and with a large network of volunteers.
